Welcome graphic

The name itself will tell about me. It’s a native name carrying the name of my great grandparents. I grew up in a beautiful village, Barlig Mountain Province. I am close to nature, to art, to music, to people especially the tribe. I find myself still quite young at age 24. And I shall be growing old, but tomorrow I don’t know what life might look like for me or for the world. I find life is just what you make, like in what picture you would like to get and then preparing to put in a frame. You can choose to see what kind of picture you want to see. But sometimes we don’t own the world, we don’t even completely own our life, our yesterday, and our tomorrow. We only can hold to what is at this present...and striving to life the world to the fullest. This is I think what Art intends to. Just like what my photography will express. I am not a professional photographer, but it is not a question of whether you are a professional or an amateur one. It is how you see and it is how you express and share. Photography means a lot to me as well as art. Although there are times that I failed a lot, I got discouraged, but many times I still find my eyes can’t drop off the image I should have taken. I still dream of it. So therefore I have explored further into this field of art.

I was inspired even more by a friend and a mentor, a hero photographer who helped me in a lot of ways, Mr. Edward Gerlock (kuya "edot")... But what am I doing spending so much in buying films and papers and batteries, etc? It is an expensive hobby and interest. Well I don’t know! I just love doing it; its just art- art is life! And finally I realized more the reason and the content of what I am doing when a friend describes my art as "merely passion"... And then there at that moment in my whole years of doing that I finally found the literal meaning of my interest and my work ...Its not actually just literal sense, but it is an art of "passion".... of putting how life has existed yesterday, today, and perhaps tomorrow, into a reminiscing image that will forever describe life-long realities.
